Can’t make it to the clinic?
Then Telehealth is for you!
In light of recent events, Telehealth has become more popular, but it’s here to stay. We’d hope that, if you’ve seen a Physio before, your treatment plan would have involved education, rehabilitation, self-management, correcting weakness and getting your body moving rather than just passive, hands on treatments.
This is where Online Telehealth Consults are becoming more applicable.
Ideally we would use a combination of manual therapy and specific, guided rehabilitation in our fully equipped gym. However, while we do feel that hands on treatment can be immensely helpful in a lot of cases, it’s everything else around it that often moves you past the symptom relief, bandaid approach, to a long term solution for your pain or condition.
When should you opt for Telehealth vs a face-to-face consult?
If you are unwell or isolating
If you live remotely and cannot regularly make it into the clinic (for example, you live in the The Alpine Regions of Omeo, Swifts Creek, Hotham, etc)
If you think your condition may be related to a weakness or imbalance issue and you don’t think you require any hands on treatment
If you’re up to the ‘rehab’ stage of your treatment plan, are no longer requiring hands on treatment but are struggling to find time to make it to sessions
If you think that Online Physio is right for you
